In 2010, Pro-Active Media founder Larry O'Bryan led the successful Democratic effort to defeat four-term Republican incumbent state senator Elizabeth Tori representing Hardin and Jefferson counties.O'Bryan's campaign strategy blending broadcast TV, cable, direct mail and phones into a seamless, concise and compelling message was praised by political observers as the driving force behind the Democrats' stunning upset.

While O'Bryan was receiving accolades for his work in defeating the first incumbent Republican state senator in 20 years, he was also protecting and winning Democratic-held seats in Jefferson County, including leading the successful reelection efforts for the Jefferson County Sheriff and County Attorney. O'Bryan's list of 2010 victories also includes three judgeships in Jefferson County at both the District and Circuit court levels.


In 2012 O'Bryan provided the winning media for Court of Appeals Judge Irv Maze and Circuit Judge Angela Bisig.  O'Bryan also produced the hard hitting and aggressive television spots against Chris Theineman, which helped secure Sen. Perry Clark's election against his much better funded opponent.
