While O'Bryan was receiving accolades for his work in defeating the first incumbent Republican state senator in 20 years, he was also protecting and winning Democratic-held seats in Jefferson County, including leading the successful reelection efforts for the Jefferson County Sheriff and County Attorney. O'Bryan's list of 2010 victories also includes three judgeships in Jefferson County at both the District and Circuit court levels.
